This project is located in Jingzhou City, invested by Guoneng Changyuan Jingzhou Thermal Power Co., Ltd, and our company has undertaken the pile foundation construction of this project.
The construction scope of this project includes main plant, boiler, chimney and other major structures area, with PHC pipe pile foundation, and pile diameter is 600 mm, the pile end bearing layer is ⑦ pebble layer; the pile diameter of cooling tower area is 800 mm, the effective pile length is about 28 m, and the pile end enters into ⑦ pebble layer. The stratum in the construction area is mainly composed of miscellaneous fill, powder clay, powder sand, pebbles, etc.
The project was started on November 8, 2021 and completed on August 17, 2022, with more than 800 bored piles of 800mm in diameter and more than 1,900 piles of 600mm in diameter PHC pipe piles. The construction of pile foundation meets the requirements of design and specification, with 100% passing rate of allowable deviation items. The quality inspection and evaluation of each sub-project showed that the pile integrity and pile bearing capacity were excellent and the approved grade of each project was qualified, which was well received by the supervisor and the owner.
