This project is located in East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, invested by PT.KOBEXINDO CEMENT, our company is responsible for the dynamic compaction of this project. The construction stratum consists of artificial fill layer, clay, chalky clay, fine sand and limestone.
The project started on May 18, 2021 and was completed on September 30, 2022, of which about 260,000 square meters were completed by dynamic replacement and about 110,000 square meters were completed by dynamic compaction.
The construction of this project in the middle of the rainy season just Indonesia, the site is prone to waterlogging, resulting in soft soil, reducing the effect of ramming, the project department determined the direction of open ditch drainage according to the topography of the site, digging an open ditch according to the required slope to ensure the quality of construction, compacting the surface of the area of dynamic compaction timely, keeping abreast of weather changes to achieve prior prevention. Additionally, when the crawler crane is compacting after the rain, it is strictly prohibited to work on the uncompacted virtual soil or low-lying areas. At the same time to carry out test lifting, the rammer will be lifted off the ground about 1m back and forth several times, to determine the stability. During the construction period, the project department actively cooperated with the requirements of the owner, reasonable construction sequence, and good communication and coordination and adjustment, and obey the unified management of the owner, the characteristics of the project to take measures to strengthen safety management, to ensure the safety of construction and dynamic compaction quality, environmental protection and civilized construction work also won the owner's praise.
The project was tested by a third-party testing center for the bearing capacity of the soil after compacting, and the test results showed that it could meet the bearing capacity requirements.
