This project is located in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, invested PipeChina Beihai LNG Co. This project is the construction of 5# and 6# storage tank pile foundation, more than 370 piles under each of the two tanks, a total of more than 750 piles with the diameter of 1400mm.
In order to ensure the quality of the project, before the start of the pile foundation of this project, each process was broken down in detail before construction, and through the study of drawings, ground investigation reports and test piles, the notes of each key point of construction were analyzed in detail, and the technical handover was refined and precisely explained to all construction teams. According to the situation of on-site construction, staff training is carried out in phases for shift groups, and relevant specified contents are trained in the corresponding phases to achieve good training effect. At the same time, during the construction process, the quality of reinforcement cage production, slurry index, field quality of concrete, solid quality of short columns after the completion of pouring, whether the slag of grouted pile meets the specification requirements and other construction quality priorities are checked to ensure that the construction quality of each process meets the site acceptance standards.
After the completion of the project, the owner entrusted a third-party testing company to test the pile foundation of the 5# and 6# storage tanks, all of which are Class I piles. More than 90 piles were tested by ultrasonic, and 8 piles were tested for horizontal bearing capacity and static load respectively, all of which were qualified, meeting the contract quality requirements.
