The project is located in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, invested by Guanghui Energy Comprehensive Logistics Development Co., Ltd., and our company undertook the pile foundation construction of this project. The pile foundation is reinforced concrete bored pile, 400 piles are arranged under the tank, the minimum distance between piles is 3.025m, and the pile diameter is 1200mm. The construction adopted the integrated construction technology of pile and column, and the hole was formed by rotary drilling rig. A total of 400 piles were completed. The construction started on October 25, 2021 and was completed on January 25, 2022, which met the requirements of the contract.
For the quality control of this project, the pile length of the bored pile was determined to meet the design requirements by the depth of the pile end into the pulverized sand layer. After the completion of the project, the owner commissioned a third-party pile foundation testing unit to carry out testing. Through vertical static load test, acoustic transmission method and low strain test, the testing results were all qualified, and all 400 piles passed the testing at one time, meeting the contract quality requirements.
In terms of safety management of this project, standardized construction management was adopted in strict accordance with the requirements of the company and the owner and general contractor, and the site safety and civilized construction banners, warning signs and other facilities were complete and hanging in standard. The site was equipped with dedicated personnel to clean the construction road and watering trucks to control dust. During the construction period when the epidemic was serious, we actively cooperated with the owner and the general contractor to do a good job in epidemic prevention. During the construction period, there was no accidental injury and no case of COVID-19 epidemic infection, which was unanimously praised by the owner and the general contractor.
In terms of construction progress management, the project carefully coordinated the construction, reasonably arranged the rig layout and construction sequence to ensure the maximum efficiency of the construction equipment on site. During the construction period, all the project staffs played the spirit of "iron army", overcame the hardships and fought continuously to complete the pile foundation construction task 20 days ahead of schedule, despite the bad weather in the early stage of rain and the sudden drop of temperature in the late stage.
