The project was to construct 858 cast-in-place piles, including 257 piles of 800 mm diameter and 601 piles of 600 mm diameter. The construction site is located in Dashuigou Industrial Park, Jinzhong Town, Kaiyang County, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. The scope of construction includes, but is not limited to, site leveling, surveying and setting out, bored pile construction (trial pile construction, trial pile head treatment), slurry transport, site cleaning and restoration after pile completion, etc. according to the design drawings and technical documents provided by the contractor.
The project of storage tank pile foundation was started on April 20, 2021 and all of them were completed on July 18, 2021. The project is divided into 9 parts, including 30 pretreatment piles with a diameter of 800 mm, 208 pretreatment piles with a diameter of 600 mm, 127 post-treatment piles with a diameter of 800 mm, 29 post-treatment piles with a diameter of 600 mm, 100 extraction piles with a diameter of 800 mm, 117 extraction piles with a diameter of 600 mm, 19 post-treatment piles of product acid buffer tank area with a diameter of 600 mm, 51 piles of PPA control room with a diameter of 600 mm, 98 piles of external pipe of the whole plant with a diameter of 600 mm, 10 piles of auxiliary raw material storage with a diameter of 600 mm, 40 piles of PPA substation with a diameter of 600 mm. 40 piles of the on-site cabinet room with a diameter of 600 mm. The concrete strength grade of pre-treatment, post-treatment, extraction, post-treatment/product acid buffer tank area, auxiliary raw material storage and the whole plant outside pipe is C35, and the impermeability grade is P8. For PP substation, PPA control room site cabinet room, the concrete strength grade is C35, and no impermeability grade. The rotary drilling rigs were used for drilling. For piles with a diameter of 800 mm, 81 piles were tested with cores, 13 piles were tested with high strain and 257 piles were tested with low strain. For piles with a diameter of 600 mm, 84 piles were tested with cores, 37 piles were tested with high strain and 601 piles were tested with low strain. The test results showed that the vertical compressive bearing capacity of single pile met the design requirements.
Although the construction of the pile foundation was affected by the epidemic and the supply of raw materials, all the staff of the project department made concerted efforts and took countermeasures to ensure the supply of materials for the project in accordance with the characteristics of the project, thus ensuring the construction schedule, and at the same time, firmly implemented the policy of safety first and prevention first during the construction process and strengthened the safety management, so that no safety accident occurred during the implementation of the project.
During the whole construction process, the project department attached great importance to environmental protection work, designated a person in charge of environmental protection work, responsible for the surrounding environment, and construction site management and coordination, regular inspection of the environment of the construction area, thus no environmental pollution accident occurred. Based on the principle of practicality and quality first, we well completed the pile foundation project of this project. During the construction process, we established the project quality responsibility system, strictly implemented the quality objectives, implemented comprehensive quality management for all key processes, strictly implemented the self-inspection and mutual inspection responsibility system, insisted on the principle of self-inspection for each process to ensure the quality of pile foundation construction.
