Chaozhou Huaying LNG terminal project is located in the east area of Dachengwan operation area, Shuiguidi, Suocheng Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. The scale of construction includes 6 million tons/year (annual gas supply is about 8.4 billion cubic meters) LNG terminal, a LNG berth of 30000-217000 cubic meters, the construction of export high-pressure natural gas pipeline to connect with the provincial and municipal natural gas pipeline network, and construction of 7 LNG tanks of 200,000 cubic meters. The construction of three 200,000 m3 LNG storage tanks and supporting process devices were completed in phase I.
Our company undertook the work related to the construction of engineering piles for three 200,000m³ storage tanks of the project, including test pile works and pile foundation works for T-6201, T-6202 and T-6203 storage tanks. The piling works for the storage tanks of this project started on March 21, 2021, and all the piling works for the three LNG storage tanks were completed and the equipment was withdrawn on June 03, 2021. There are 376 piles for each storage tank, and a total of 1128 piles have been completed. The pile below the ground is 60m long, the short column is 1.266m and 1.566m high, the concrete strength grade is C40, the impermeability grade is P10, and the anti-corrosion and rust inhibitor is added. The construction technology of slurry for preventing collapse of borehole and integrated forming of pile body and pile cap is adopted. A total of 18 single piles were tested for vertical compressive static load, 1128 piles for low strain test and 120 piles for ultrasonic test. The test results meet the design requirements.
Although the construction was affected by the epidemic and the supply of raw materials, all the staff of the project department made concerted efforts and took countermeasures to ensure the supply of materials for the project in accordance with the characteristics of the project, thus ensuring the construction schedule, while firmly implementing the policy of safety first and prevention first during the construction process and strengthening safety management, no safety accident occurred during the implementation of the project.
During the whole construction process, the project department attaches great importance to environmental protection, designates a person responsible for environmental protection, and responsible for the management and coordination of the environment around the construction and construction site, and regularly inspects the environment of the construction area, no environmental pollution accident occurred. Through the efforts of all the staff of the project department, the construction safety and quality were ensured, and the construction task was successfully completed, which was well received by the owner and the supervisory organization.
