This project is located in Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, the main construction content is 1#, 2#, 3#, 4# coke ovens, coke quenching tower, dry quenching equipment, chimneys, etc. and the ancillary buildings required to put into production. The project started on September 18, 2020 and ended on January 2, 2021. The exploration was carried out in three times and lasted 75 days, with a total exploration workload of 8,507.1 m completed.
The surface layers of the proposed site include fill, sandy soil and clayey soil, and the underlying mudstone, sandstone and andesite. According to the project requirements, stratigraphic characteristics and the proposed foundation form, the survey means include drilling, standard penetration (cone power touch) test, wave velocity test, geotechnical test items including water content test, limit water content test, specific gravity test, loess collapsibility test, saturated uniaxial compressive strength test of bedrock, etc. Through field drilling and indoor tests, the spatial distribution range of the foundation soil and the physical and mechanical parameters of each layer of soil in the site were clarified.
The survey report evaluates the seismic effect of the site and the homogeneity of the foundation soil, provides the geotechnical parameters required for geotechnical engineering, proposes treatment measures for collapsible loess, analyzes and evaluates the selection of the pile bearing layer and the feasibility of pile formation, and makes reasonable suggestions for the foundation plan, pit excavation and support plan.
During the project implementation, the project department completed the survey work efficiently in accordance with the company's safety, environment and quality management system, and the submitted survey results were compounded with the specification requirements, which were highly recognized by the owner and the construction party.
