Zhangye Power Plant 2×1000MW Coal-fired Unit Expansion Project is located in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, invested by Zhangye Power Generation Co., Ltd. with a total of 1,355 piles, including 1,005 piles with diameter of 1,000mm and 350 piles with diameter of 800mm.
This project started on April 25, 2023 and concluded on October 08, 2023. During the construction process, through many tests, polymer chemical slurry was adopted for construction, which reduced the cost and improved the construction efficiency, and the research of “Application of Polymer Chemical Slurry in Rotary Bored Piles in Full Sand Stratum Ground” was carried out in conjunction with the engineering practice.
During the construction period of this project, “zero accident” was achieved, meeting the requirements of site safety and civilized construction put forward by the owner, achieving the expected occupational safety and environmental objectives, and meeting the requirements of the contract. The third-party test showed that the completed piles were 100% qualified, which was highly praised by the supervisor and the owner.
