The hydrogeological investigation for East Garden Water Supply Project in Huailai County is located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. In order to solve the water supply for the construction of East Garden Data Center Cluster in Huailai County, Huailai County Runhuai Water Supply Co., Ltd. entrusted our company to carry out hydrogeological investigation for the range of 328.60 km2 south of Guanting Reservoir.
The project started on July 5, 2022 and was completed on June 5, 2023, lasting 335 days. The construction of exploration wells adopts tracked hydraulic power head drilling rigs, which greatly reduces labor intensity. The use of high-precision pressure-type water level gauges instead of traditional water level gauges for groundwater level measurement not only improves the measurement accuracy, but also reduces the labor input, thus improving the overall project efficiency. The project has completed 1:50,000 hydrogeological mapping; carried out physical exploration work such as transient electromagnetic method, electric bathymetry and excitation method; drilled 6 combined exploration and mining wells; carried out 6 groups of single-hole pumping tests with observation holes and 1 group of group-hole pumping tests (7 pumping wells); analyzed 22 pieces of water quality; and observed 8 holes for groundwater level dynamics, etc., and carried out an evaluation of the permissible exploitation of 6,570,000m3/a of groundwater in the water source area.
No safety accidents or damage to the environment occurred during the whole construction process of this project, which met the requirements of the owner for progress, quality, safety and environmental protection, and successfully passed the expert review organized by the owner. It has been accepted by the owner.
