On November 30, 2021, a grand commencement activity was held for the storage tank pile foundation project of the terminal of Sinopec liquefied natural gas (LNG) project undertaken by our company in Longkou, Shandong. Li Huawei, General Manager of the Group Company, accompanied by Song Pengbo, Secretary of Foundation Engineering Company, was invited to attend this grand activity.
After the opening ceremony, General Manager Li Huawei listened to the summary report of Project Manager Li Shengli, and inspected and guided the project construction site, accommodation environment and canteen construction, especially pointing out that it is the primary responsibility of the project department to recover the construction funds on time. Additionally, raw materials and subcontracting prices are the focus of the process management of the project department, and it is necessary to maximize the cost saving and increase revenue. On top of that, efforts should be made to improve the accommodation conditions of front-line employees, enrich their cultural activities, increase employees' happiness. Meanwhile, General Manager Li Huawei praised the construction of Longkou project department.
The project is a key project of Shandong Provincial Government and Sinopec Group, aiming to build "Model Projects" and to win a national gold award. At present, the construction of pile foundation of 3# tank has been completed, and the pile foundation of 1# tank is planned to be constructed after Spring Festival. All staffs of the project department will concentrate their efforts and summarize their experiences and shortcomings in depth to ensure the successful completion of the pile foundation construction of 1# tank and lay a good foundation for the bidding work of the second phase of the project.
