Xiong'an New Area is a major decision and deployment made by the Party Central Committee to promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, which is a major historical strategic choice and a national event of a thousand years. Seismic safety evaluation is of great significance to the property and safety of people in the new area.
Entrusted by Hebei Earthquake Risk Prevention and Control Center, our company undertook the survey work for part of the starting area of Xiong'an New Area. Through reasonable resource allocation and deployment, the project department successfully completed the survey task. The survey used a combination of field drilling, in-situ testing, indoor testing and dynamic parameter testing to identify the spatial distribution of the stratigraphy in the starting area of the new area, and to partition the site category and seismic liquefaction of the site. The ground vibration parameters of the site soil layers were also provided, which provided scientific and reliable data for seismic 3D modeling calculation.
The project was well received by the owner and laid a good foundation for the subsequent tasks to be undertaken.
